Every two weeks, SelflessTee launches a new cause inspired tee with a different cause and gives $7 per tee shirt to an amazing organization helping to change the world.
Social Entrepreneur Danny Bocanegra, founder of SelflessTee, talks about the issue he is tackling, the impact he is making and share helpful business tips for aspiring social entrepreneurs.
The SelflessTee story starts at the end of Danny’s college experience when he sold tees on campus and raised $14k to help fight malaria in different parts of Kenya, he then delivered these nets personally and saw first hand the positive and negative impact of the project and what foreign aid really meant. This was ultimately the inspiration for SelflessTee in wanting to create a sustainable, fashionable solution to fundraising for the best non profits in the country. Danny resides in San Francisco, CA, is passionate about competition, personal development, and being a proud family member. He’s the oldest of a dozen cousins, a decent brother, and a very proud uncle.
